I just found out the hard way that ebay is now penalizing sellers for ending their auction early. Although in some cases it's a good rule like when you've already placed a bid on an auction this rule should not go into effect if you have no bids on your item. This is eBay trying to keep you from selling your item through other channels and becoming even more greedy. Keep this in mind when selling on eBay.
In the meantime when selling a cell phone or tablet avoid them completely. Instead use www.swappa.com and avoid eBay fees.
