Starbucks coffee shops have offered free wifi for a while now. For most of that time At&t has been in charge of providing this service. But today Google has announced they will be taking over all Starbucks location wifi and offering a better and faster service. In the towns that have Google fiber the service will be even faster. Only after a short time after release and Google's latest and greatest device is receiving its first ota update. The Google chromecast hdmi dongle is getting an ota update that will supposedly fix some bugs. According to Ambaresh Kenghe, Chromecast product manager, "the update will roll out over the next few days and will happen automatically; users do not need to take any action."
A bit of warning, this update supposedly will patch the latest exploit that allowed the dongle to be rooted. Although there probably is nothing most people can do to stop the update. But most people will not root this device as it already offers many advantages without root.
It's good to see an update this fast as it probably means things are moving pretty quickly to offer even more options and features that will make this $35 device feel more like a $99 device.
For those that already have it, it's a welcomed update as some were reporting glitches with some phones.

T-Mobile is on a roll. First they introduced amazing no contract plans, then they introduced a new level of no contract plans plus the best phone upgrade plan on the market called JUMP that also includes insurance coverage. On top of that they announced dozens of lte markets in just several months and possibly beat Sprint already in lte deployment. Now they are improving their current LTE coverage even before they introduce the next big plan they have set for the telecommunications industry.

I just found out the hard way that ebay is now penalizing sellers for ending their auction early. Although in some cases it's a good rule like when you've already placed a bid on an auction this rule should not go into effect if you have no bids on your item. This is eBay trying to keep you from selling your item through other channels and becoming even more greedy. Keep this in mind when selling on eBay.
